Participants are encourage to read through and ensure that they have the required information before proceeding to apply.
a) Fill in the online application form accurately and upload required documents.
b) Paste your video link in the online application form.
c) *Registration Fee of USD50 must paid in order for application to be considered.
d) An acknowledgement email indicating the status of your application (either approved or not approved) will be sent to those who applied within 7 days.
e) Approved applicants are to make payment for the full tuition fee of USD 1500 within two weeks (14 days) and submit their masterclass repertoires latest by 1st May.
*Application and registration fees are non-refundable.
AUDITION RECORDING REQUIREMENT
a) An audition recording has to be submitted together with the application form.
b) Participants can decide on an appropriate repertoire of approximately 5-15 minutes in length that will accurately reflect their mastery of the violin.
c) Please upload your audition video recording to Youtube/Youku/Dropbox and paste the link in the respective section of the application form. Online submission is strongly encouraged. If you are unable to submit a video recording online, you may submit a hard copy DVD to Festival Offices .
SUBMIT YOUR MASTERCLASS REPERTOIRES
a) Accepted participants will need to submit at least 2 (maximum 5) repertoires via this page.
b) The choice of repertoires will be used to determine your level of proficiency and a guide for allocating the appropriate teachers.
c) Submission deadline: To be announced
d) Changes in submitted repertoire can be made anytime through this page before deadline.
e) No changes may be made after the deadline unless required by the Artistic Committee.
LESSONS & OPEN MASTERCLASSES
a) There will be no replacement for the private lesson and open masterclass.
b) Lesson schedule is to be strictly followed. Participants are to arrive 5 minutes before the start of every class.
c) Request for additional lessons are subjected to availability.
PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO RECORDING RULES
a)Participants are to take note that photographs and recordings of the festival will be taken. The organizers reserve the right to retain and use such materials for corporate and commercial purposes.
b)However, photo taking and video recording by the participants during the individual lessons are subjected to the approval of the professor in charge.
c) No Photography, Video recording and Audio recording is allowed during the open masterclasses and concerts.
a) The festival will not be responsible for individual medical coverage and expenses of the participants.
b) Participants and/or parents agree to accept full financial responsibility for any and all damages to property caused by the participant at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music.
c) Participants and/or parents agree to the conditions and deadlines indicated in this page.
